Community Playground

Introduction
This is a residential community children’s playground project, designed to create a safe, vibrant, and long-lasting play environment for kids aged 3–12. The site required a colorful, slip-resistant, and low-maintenance EPDM flooring solution that could integrate with the modern landscape design while meeting strict safety standards for impact absorption and UV stability. Our client, a real estate developer, prioritized two key points: consistent color matching with the landscape design and reliable performance to withstand daily use by children and exposure to outdoor elements.
Our ApproacH
We developed a tailored solution based on the project’s design and functional requirements:
Custom Color & Pattern Matching: We precisely matched the vibrant orange and neutral grey EPDM granule colors to the landscape design, ensuring seamless integration with the playground’s slides, climbing structures, and overall aesthetic.
High-Safety Material Selection: We recommended our 1-3.5mm, 15% rubber content EPDM granules (ROHS/REACH compliant) for the base layer, paired with our aliphatic PU binder for excellent shock absorption, slip resistance, and anti-yellowing performance—ideal for children’s play areas.
Construction & Technical Support: We provided detailed installation guidelines, including mixing ratios and curing conditions, to help the construction team achieve the smooth, seamless finish required for the curved mounds and road patterns.
Low-Maintenance & Durability: Our material system is designed to resist fading, cracking, and wear from heavy foot traffic, ensuring the playground maintains its bright appearance and safety performance for years.
WHAT WE DID
